The 2012 Denville Little League Try-outs will be conducted in January - dates to be determined


You MUST attend 50% of the tryouts to play in the Major League!
Tryouts are open for Players starting their 9-year-old season (Farm) thru 12
Years Old. Please make every effort to attend one of the sessions.
If you are currently playing on a Major League Team, you do not need to attend the tryouts.
NOTICE – TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS
OF ALL 12 YEAR-OLDS
In 2008 Little League International passed a rule requiring all 12 year-olds to be placed on
Major League teams.
Since registration and attendance at a tryout are required for all Major League players, ALL 12 year-olds
MUST:
1. Register by the time of the tryouts
2. Attend one tryout session
Failure to fulfill either of these two requirements will most likely result in the player’s exclusion from the
Major League in the 2011 season.
In this event, the only way for a 12 year-old to play will be for his/her parent/guardian to request a waiver to
allow the player to be drafted onto a Minor league team. In most cases, this waiver will likely be granted (by
Little League District 1), but the parent/guardian MUST request the waiver to start the process.
If a 12 year-old player does not wish to be considered for the Major League, the player’s parent/guardian can
request a waiver to allow him/her to play in the Minor League. Except in extraordinary circumstances, we
expect these waivers to be granted without a problem. Again, the parent/guardian MUST start this process by
submitting the waiver request.

request forms must be submitted to Steve Bubak.
